The Persian Carpet Studio is a leading UK centre of excellence in the restoration, conservation and cleaning of hand-made Oriental and European Carpets and Rugs.
We specialise in both Modern and Antique rugs. Oriental Rugs and Carpets are individual works of art, handmade by artists and craftspeople whose designs are unique to their own tribes and areas. They represent long-term investments, which, if given the care they deserve, will reward their owners with decades of good service.
The cost of repairs increases if a damaged rug is left to deteriorate. Assessing your rug and having repairs carried out as soon as you have identified a problem, not only maintains the condition and value of your rug but could also save you money.
We are one of the few places in the UK with the specialist skills to offer a full range of services. The work we undertake ranges from securing fraying ends, to extensive re-building work where a carpet has been badly damaged. We carry out conservation work to preserve antique rugs and woven textiles that are too delicate to be restored and used as functional pieces.
The workshops are equipped with specialist facilities and security systems and with over 85 square metres of workshop space we can also work on over-sized carpets. |
