Our home is an 18 th century former coaching inn in the Suffolk village of Long Melford . This picture-postcard Suffolk village is at the heart of East Anglia 's antiques trade and is an easy journey from London or any of the UK airports, especially Stansted.

The showroom is spacious, neutral in decor and flooded with natural light, providing calm surroundings in which to examine the sensuous textiles, sumptuous colours and exquisite patterns of the rugs and carpets. We have hand picked through thousands of rugs to bring you some of the most beautiful, durable and collectable rugs on the market.

With over 1000 rugs in the showroom, our stock ranges from small inexpensive rugs to over-sized carpets in excess of 14 feet by 10 feet. We specialise in antique and new hand-made rugs and carpets from the historically famous carpet weaving counties of Iran , Pakistan , Turkey and Afghanistan . Our Persian rugs vary from the elegant designs of the specially commissioned city-based craftsmen, the rustic styles of villagers to the tribal motives of the nomad weavers.

One of the most impressive parts of our Oriental rug collection are the rugs being made by Afghan weavers using hand spun, vegetable dyed wool. Many of these stunning rugs have the appearance of 80 year old masterpieces and will grace homes for decades to come.
